Harishchandragad is a hill fort located in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, India. It is situated at an altitude of 1,424 meters above sea level and is a popular trekking destination among adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. The fort is known for its ancient rock-cut caves, stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys, and the challenging trek to its summit. The trek to Harishchandragad starts from the village of Khireshwar, which is about 170 km from Mumbai. The trek is moderately difficult and takes around 4-5 hours to complete. The trail passes through dense forests, rocky terrain, and steep ascents, making it an exciting and challenging trek. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Harishchandragad is also home to several ancient temples and caves, including the Kedareshwar Cave, which is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva.
Our pickup will be at 09 pm & by 09:30 PM we will depart to Harishchandragad.
We Will, Start the Trek Early in the Morning from Pachnai & Will Reach The Top by 7 AM After a trek for 2-3 Hours, Take a Rest. We Will Finish Our Breakfast And We Will Start Exploring Harishchandragad We Will Explore Taramati Peak, Kokankada, & Temples of Harishchandragad. Have some snacks & start Descending. Have a Delicious Lunch at base village. And a Farewell to all beautiful souls with unforgettable memories
