Jivdhan Fort, located near Naneghat Pass in Ghatghar, Junnar, is a scenic hill fort. The trek begins through dense forests, offering stunning vistas and opportunities to observe diverse bird species and wildlife. The fort is easily accessible, with campsites and homestays available nearby. Considered one of the top five treks in the Junnar region. It can be combined with other forts like Hadsar, Naneghat, Shivneri, and Chavand for a comprehensive experience. The trek route is challenging, requiring climbing equipment for rock patches, while the jungle path may be confusing. The fort boasts intricately carved rock-cut steps leading to the Kalyan Gate, with hooks provided for easier climbing. Don't miss the exhilarating Jivdhan rock patch, a major highlight of the trek.
1. Our pickup will be at 10 pm & by 10:30 PM we will depart to Jivdhan fort. Pune Pickup : Near Shivajinagar Railway Station
1. We will reach the base village by 4 am in the morning and then will start a trek around 6:30 am after a breakfast. 2. Get Ready For Adventure. Explore one of the oldest artificial catchment area of Maharashtra. 3. We will have a view of Vanarlingi pinnacle and Naneghat from top and will start descending 4. Descend down Jivdhan fort and have lunch and start return Journey to Pune 5. And a Farewell to all beautiful souls with unforgettable memories
