Ratangad Fort is a hill fort located in the Sahyadri mountain range in Maharashtra, India. The fort is situated at an altitude of 4,255 feet above sea level and is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The fort was built during the reign of the Bahmani Sultanate and later captured by the Maratha Empire. The fort is known for its stunning architecture, including a stone bridge that connects two peaks of the fort, a large water tank, and an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The fort also has several other temples and caves, including the famous Amruteshwar Temple. Ratangad Fort is a popular trekking destination and attracts many adventure enthusiasts from around the world. The trek to the top of the fort is considered moderate to difficult and takes around 2-3 hours to complete. The trail to the top is scenic, passing through dense forests and waterfalls. Visitors are advised to carry enough water and wear comfortable shoes with good grip.
Our pickup will be at 8 pm & by 08:30 PM we will depart to Ratangad Fort. Thane Pickup : Near Thane Railway Station
We will reach the base village by 4 am in the morning and then will start a trek around 6:30 am after a breakfast. Get Ready For Adventure. Explore one of the oldest artificial catchment area of Maharashtra. What makes Ratangad trek even better is its Ladder while descending down from the top.
